Following on from our fantastic win away in Pembrokeshire we had Bedfordshire at home.
The score was 19-17 coming right down to the wire.
As usual our Womens B kicked off the weekend. Some brilliant games there and it ended 3-3. Jenni Bridgens was Lady of the Match with a fantastic 18.11
Onto the Mens B which was another tight affair.
6-6 the score was there with Pete Smith rolling back the years. A superb 27.33 average seen him win Man of the Match for Saturday. The final score from Saturday was 9-9 with the Sunday teams having it all to play for.
The Ladies A were fantastic. Winning 4-2 in what really won the deciding factor in the match. Jane Price once again took the Lady of the Match award with an 18.46.
With the Men needing a draw of better to get the win for Gloucestershire they did exactly that. 6-6 meaning Gloucestershire had the win. The men produced some fine games but a big mention for Steve Handley the Man of the Match hitting a staggering 32.85 average in a 4-0 win over Ben Hazel.
This was a hard fought victory and really showed how much we have improved as a team. We have a big game next a long journey to Cumbria in what could be the deciding game for promotion!
