Bedfordshire Draw

We are now a week on from our trip to Bedfordshire. Overall a great weekend and a strong result for Gloucestershire.

The Womens B side started off our weekend. It was a close game with some missed chances. Bedfordshire took this one 4-2. Tammy Jones took lady of the match with a 16.89. Unfortunately she was not present for certificate presentation.

We follow onto the Mens B. It was another close contest but this time it was in our favour. 7-5 win for us. Gloucestershires most capped man Mark Turley took the man of the match with a 22.39.

The first day finished 9-9 with it all to play for on the Sunday.

The Sunday begins with our Womens A side. It was a strong start pushing us in front with a 4-2 win. Fantastic result for the ladies. Jane Price took the lady of the match with a great 19.27. Top darts Jane.

Going into the final section the Mens A. We went into an early lead with this one with the Man of the match Les Higgs kicking us off. It was really a close battle, credit to Bedfordshire for sticking in there and winning 5 of the last 6 games to get the draw.

Overall result 18-18.
