Back to back WINS!!!

After the fantastic win at the Isle of Wight last year we followed it up with a brilliant result against a strong Wirral side. Absolutely fantastic result for Gloucestershire. The overall score was 20-16 in our favour.

The ladies B kicked off the weekend on Saturday morning. Jenni Bridgens went on first and took lady of the match with a 17.68. The overall result for this section was 3-3 with 3 games going the distance.

The mens B followed up in fantastic form. Winning 7-5 overall. There was some great games throughout this but the man of the match went to our secretary Steve Easton with a fantastic 25.91. The atmosphere across both ladies and mens games was brilliant.

Going into the Sunday with a 10-8 lead. The ladies A kicked us off. It was tough and while each women played quite well Wirral were very strong winning 5-1. Our 1 being Jane Price, winning lady of the match with a 19.03. Great stuff as always from Jane.

To round out the weekend our Men had to fight back an 11-13 score line and they did! Winning 9-3 overall making the final score 20-16. There was some incredible individual performances to get us this win. Each player did their part and got us this result. The man of the match was the final game of the weekend. Mark Johncock winning 4-1 with a 25.07.

Again the atmosphere was electric on the Sunday. It was really great to see and even better to be apart of!

Onto the next game Gloucestershire will travel to Pembrokeshire. Let's keep this form going! Cmon the shire!

Special mention to Obsidian Photography who came up on the Saturday and got some fantastic photos. These will be displayed on the site after the next home game as we get more from the Sunday teams. Here is a small peak below.
